Any of these sound familiar?

  • The last five texts between us are all logistics.
  • Same couch, same show, phones out, no talking.
  • "What do you want to do tonight?" "I don't know, what do you want to do?"
  • We're great teammates and mediocre company.
  • Date night gets scheduled, then quietly cancelled.

None of that means anything is wrong. It means the habit went missing.

Take the 2-minute quiz

Eight questions about your actual life — kids, calendars, what faded first. No email required to see where you land.

Why we made this

We hit year eleven and realised we'd become excellent co-workers. The house ran beautifully. The calendar was a work of art. And we hadn't had a conversation that wasn't about the calendar in weeks.

Every "date night idea" list we found was written for people who were still dating. Nothing was written for a Tuesday, after bedtime, with twenty minutes and no babysitter.

So we made the thing we wanted: a deck of cards, a couple of rules, and a reason to sit at the kitchen table with our phones in the other room.

Questions people actually ask

Is this therapy?
No. It's a deck of cards and a habit. If something bigger is going on, a good therapist beats a card game every time — this is for couples who are fine and flat.
Is it cheesy?
It is not. There are no trust falls, no gazing exercises, and nothing you'd be embarrassed to read out loud. If a card makes you cringe, the Bail Card exists for exactly that.
What actually arrives?
A print-ready PDF, immediately. Print it at home on cardstock, or use Couch Mode on your phone if the printer is out of ink like everyone else's.
What if my partner is not into this?
Most partners aren't, at first. The Warm-Up level is designed to be done without announcing that you're Doing An Exercise. Twenty minutes, one question, no framework talk.
Do we have to do it every week?
No. Couples who do it weekly notice the most, but the 12-week tracker exists so you can miss a week without the whole thing dying.
Refunds?
Because the deck is a digital file you download instantly and keep forever, all sales are final. We've made it easy to try before you buy — the quiz is free, there are real cards to flip through right on this page, and the free five-card Sampler lets you play an actual night first. And if anything goes wrong on our end (missing download, broken file, double charge), email us and we'll always make it right.
